Biography

Ifty Islam is Founder Chairman of Asian Tiger Capital Partners, a Dhaka-based investment bank and asset manager, and co-founder of its London sister firm Red Green Consulting. He advised the Chinese consortium behind the Shenzhen and Shanghai Stock Exchanges' 25% strategic investment in the Dhaka Stock Exchange, and AT Capital operates a joint venture with Shenzhen-based fintech Kingdom Sci-Tech. He is also a co-founder of UK technology venture Infiniti Tech. Before founding AT Capital in 2007, he was Managing Director and Head of Macro Strategy and Hedge Fund Research at Citigroup in London, following eight years at Deutsche Bank Securities in New York and London as Managing Director and Chief US Strategist. He read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at The Queen's College, Oxford.
