Who these terms are with

EM Summit NYC 2026 is an independently organized event. Full legal organizer details — registered entity, registration number, registered address and responsible executive — are published on this page as soon as they are verified. Until then, no entity name should be relied upon for contractual purposes. Written confirmation of the contracting entity is provided before any sponsorship, exhibition or speaking agreement is signed.

Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to review your application and run the event:

• Identity and contact data: name, email, phone, country, company, job title, LinkedIn or website.
• Registration data: attendee type, days attending, market and sector interests, and the profile details you choose to provide.
• Transaction data: orders, invoices, ticket records and payment status. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored by us.
• Networking data: meeting requests, responses and the notes you add to them.
• Operational data: badge check-in records and account authentication data.

Why we use it

To assess registrations, issue passes and invoices, operate badge check-in, run the meetings programme, provide support, and send event communications you have asked for. We do not sell personal data.

Sharing

Data is shared only with service providers who help operate the event — hosting, database, email and payment processing — under contract and only as needed. Your profile is shared with another delegate only when you send or accept a meeting request with them. Attendee lists are not sold or provided to sponsors without your consent.

Retention

Registration and account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards. Financial records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. You may request earlier deletion where no legal retention obligation applies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Requests are handled within 30 days.

Security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit, row-level access controls that restrict records to their owner and authorized staff, and role-based administrative access. No system is perfectly secure; we do not claim certification we do not hold.
